Griffin

hi,
for some time now there was a griffin kind of animal standing  here, waiting to be finished, but it never came to it. This summer I decided that he was right in proportions but liked the head of him, so I took a saw and sawed the poor thing in half ;).
Now I liked it better and am busy to get him finished as a kind of buste coming out of a wall hangingframe.
I was trying, you can see that in this picture, how large the wings are suppose to be, in average, so I put the two separate wings together to give me a better feeling of how large they have to become, well, they are better now, but still too small ;)....So I have to get back swift to go finish this guy up in the sculpting part.

the summer holidays are over and it is time to go back to work.
I've been busy making some new basket dragons, they are not yet painted, but soon will be.

Dutch doll magazine

hi,
Today I got the Dutch doll and teddybear magazine with the post.
And I saw a nice article about the DABIDA-day, but fell almost of my chair.
A picture of my piece, for the DABIDA-award, was showing huge on the pages.
That was a big surprise.
